The Chilliwack Hospice Society is offering a ten week evening support group for individuals who have had a family member or friend die by suicide/homicide.

This year’s theme is Moving Forward Together – Collaborating with creativity and compassion. Dr Bashir Jiwani will be speaking on ethical issues. The second keynote speaker will be Nontombi Naomi Tutu who will present on the Sub-Saharan Hospice experience.

Bereavement Walking Program

The 8-week bereavement walking group meets either on a weekday or weekend morning and the one hour walk is followed by coffee and continued conversation.

Healing after Homicide Loss Support Group

The BC Victims of Homicide will be hosting one last drop in support groups for those who have lost a loved one to homicide before we break for the summer. Drop in groups will resume in September 2013, more details to come.
